In relation to the recently released report from the Productivity Commission into Justice which states at page 124 that 90 or more percent of detainees at the Alexander Maconochie Centre are in employment, (a) how many detainees are employed, (b)what are the jobs that these detainees are undertaking, (c) what is the length of time they work each day, (d) for how many days a week do they work, (e) what is their remuneration, (f) how many of the employed detainees are First Nations, (g) how many First Nations detainees are employed compared to non-First Nations detainees and (h) are there observable trends in the types of roles that are undertaken by First Nations compared to non-First Nations detainees.
