Question - Water

1. Does the Government support the draft National Water Agreement proposed by the Commonwealth Government.
2. Does the Government support all 173 principles included in the draft National Water Agreement proposed by the Commonwealth Government.
3. Is it clear to the Government how it would implement the principles of the draft National Water Agreement.
4. What is the cost estimate, to the Government, of implementing the principles of the draft National Water Agreement.
5. What consequences has the Government identified will result from the enactment of the draft National Water Agreement, and has the Government identified any potential unintended consequences that have raised concern with the Minister or government officials.
6. Has the Minister met and/or corresponded with the Federal Minister for Water regarding the draft National Water Agreement; if so, when did the Minister last meet and/or correspond with the Federal Minister for Water regarding the draft National Water Agreement.
7. What negotiations are currently taking place between the ACT and Commonwealth governments regarding the development and implementation of the principles of the draft National Water Agreement.
