Answer
  1. In August 2023 Woolworths Group presented to the then Minister for Planning and Land Management, and a representative from the Environment Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD), their preliminary proposed plans for the Hawker shops. They were advised generally of the direct sale process and encouraged to continue engaging more broadly with the Hawker community. In November 2023, Woolworths Group and their consultant met with EPSDD officials to discuss the requirements of a direct sale application.
