Question asked
  1. Does the Minister believe that the current demand pricing structure employed by ActewAGL is fair, given that it has been reported that a household’s monthly demand charge is based on the single highest 30-minute peak usage period during the 5–8 pm window, even if that usage only occurred once in the entire month, and that single instance is then used to calculate a daily demand charge for every day of the billing cycle.
  2. Does the Government intend to engage with ActewAGL, the Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission (ICRC), or other stakeholders in order to review the model referred to in part (1).
  3. Has the Minister been consulted by community groups or other fora about the issue referred to in part (1).
