Question asked
  1. Given that there is a diagonal zebra crossing outside Chemist Warehouse at the Belconnen markets that is very poorly designed, as people walk across the road at every other point except this crossing, which I have witnessed, because the ramp is not matched up to the path (it leads into tanbark), and the crossing does not take people where they want to go, will you relocate the ramp so that those with mobility issues and those pushing prams and trolleys can cross the road and use the ramp to get back onto a path rather than into tanbark.
  2. Has the Government done or otherwise commissioned a traffic study to see if this zebra crossing needs other work.
  3. Has the Government considered making this entire area a pedestrianised zone where cars give way, similar to Bunda Street, CIvic.
