  1. Is the Minister aware that concerns have been raised about the accuracy and reliability of speed and traffic cameras in the ACT, potentially impacting thousands of motorists.
  2. Has the Minister received reports indicating that these cameras may have unfairly detected drivers, leading to incorrect fines or penalties.
  3. Can the Minister confirm whether the testing laboratory, SGS Australia Pty Ltd in Victoria, was accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities in July 2008, in accordance with the relevant legislation.
  4. Is the Minister aware of the significant consequences for ACT motorists, including potential job losses, due to license suspensions caused by accumulated demerit points.
  5. What measures has the ACT Government taken to ensure that SGS Australia Pty Ltd remains appropriately accredited, and that speed camera testing meets all regulatory standards.
