  1. In relation to recent criminal activities targeting Gurdwara Sahib Canberra in Phillip and the Hindu Temple and Cultural Centre in Florey where these venues have been targeted by criminals for theft and damage, leaving community members feeling unsafe, and given that these communities have sought assistance from the ACT and Commonwealth Governments to complete a boundary wall and fences and to upgrade their security camera systems, what financial assistance or grants are available to these community centres to assist the improvement in security for their premises, staff and worshipers.
  2. Would it be possible for a grant to be made under s 35(1)(b)(ii) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 1991 for the purposes of crime prevention; if so, what is the process for these community organisations to make a request under that scheme.
