- What contact did the Attorney-General have with the ACT Motor Traders Association and other relevant stakeholders regarding the removal of the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Advisory Committee in Part 9 of the Better Regulation Legislation Amendment Act 2025.
- What feedback did the Attorney-General receive from the motor vehicle repair industry in relation to the Better Regulation Legislation Amendment Act 2025; if comprehensive feedback was not received, why did the Attorney-General seek to remove the advisory committee.
- Can the Attorney-General indicate where in the Fair Trading (Motor Vehicle Repair Industry) Act 2010 the sale of motor vehicles is mentioned, given that in remarks on the removal of the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Advisory Committee, the Attorney-General stated that “many of the regulatory issues in the sector arise from the sale as well as repair of motor vehicles”.
