Question - Light rail

Is the reporting of the Canberra Times on 23 March 2026 concerning the Woden bus interchange being ready to open accurate, insofar as the Government is hoping to consider a business case for Light Rail Stage 2B in 2028-2029; if so, (a) does this mean that, under current plans, there will not be a decision on putting Stage 2B out for tender prior to the 2028 Territory election and (b) does this also preclude the lodging of a Works Approval Application to the National Capital Authority prior to the 2028 Territory election.
