Can the Minister confirm whether the executive leadership alignment review will examine the apportionment of the approximately $180 million per year Emergency Services Agency (ESA) budget across the ESA and ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire and Rescue, ACT State Emergency Service (SES) and ACT Rural Fire Service.
  2. Will the Minister advise the Assembly of the apportionment of the $180 million per year ESA budget across the ESA and ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire and Rescue, ACT SES and ACT Rural Fire Service.

  1. The review will not specifically examine the apportionment of the ESA budget.
  2. The ESA operates and reports as a single agency and shares resources, sites and services across all operational and enabling services, as presented in the Annual Reports and Budget Statements (Output Class 4: Emergency Services). ESA also provides financial data on operational costs for the “Report on Government Services” (RoGS). RoGS are based on specified reporting guidelines and categorised into Fire, State Emergency Service and Ambulance.
