  1. When was the Minister first advised the Emergency Services Agency (ESA) warning system test should not be conducted in September, as has been done in 2024.
  2. When was the need for enhancement work first identified.
  3. When did the enhancement work referred to in part (2) (a) commence and (b) conclude.
  4. Why didn't the ESA run a warning system test in September, as has previously been done, and then run a second test after the enhancement work was completed.
  5. Why did the ESA wait for the enhancement work to be completed before running a warning system test, if the enhancements are not being implemented until the next high risk weather season in 2026-2027.
  6. Why did the ESA conduct the warning system test during the peak of the 2025-2026 high risk weather season if the enhancements are not being implemented until the next high risk weather season.
  7. When was the warning system last tested before the test conducted on 11 December 2025.
  8. How does the Single Point of Truth warning system work in relation to the Commonwealth AusAlert, which is to be tested in June for an October commencement nationwide.
