Does Transport Canberra and City Services have any plans to remove the emerging gum trees that are growing at Mathieson Crescent Park in Weetangera; if so, what is the current timeline on completing their removal.

No. This site forms part of an Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate’s Sustainable Urban Green Space initiative. The emerging eucalyptus trees and grasses are part of a project to explore re-naturalising some parts of urban open space with endemic or native species.
