- Can the Minister outline which active panels originate from the Community Services Directorate.
- Can the Minister outline what suppliers are currently listed under each panel referred to in part (1).
- Can the Minister outline when each panel, referred to in part (1), was last refreshed or reconsidered.
- Can the Minister advise the rate of variability for suppliers year-by-year, for each active panel referred to in part (1), (for example, what percentage year-on-year does the supplier list for each active panel change/vary).
Answer
CSD Officers and delegate must adhere strictly to legal requirements, policies, guidelines and Better Practices Guidance and consider Value for Money principles. As such, there are no requirements for a minimum or maximum number of suppliers on a panel. This remains at the discretion of the relevant delegate. An open approach to market that results in only one panel member is appropriate so long as the arrangement represents value for money.
