1.  How much does it cost to run the Kingston Library each year (specifying amount for staffing, rent, utilities, etc).
2.  How much is the budget for new Molonglo Library by type of cost including (a) planning, (b) design, (c) construction and (d) projected annual operating costs.
3.  How much does it cost to run the Erindale  Library each year (specifying amount for staffing, rent, utilities, etc).

(1) Kingston library has a budget of $0.461m in the 2023-24 financial year. This includes: 

•               Staffing: $0.299m 
•               Building and Facilities: $0.161m including:
•            electricity, gas, and water $0.008m;
•            rent $0.132m;
•            cleaning and waste removal $0.018; 
•            plus, the remainder on other miscellaneous operational costs. 

(2) For the Molonglo Valley Library, Libraries has a Controlled Recurrent Payment budget of $200,000 to undertake the community co-design process for a new library and community facility. 

(3) Erindale library is a shared facility with the Education Directorate so cost sharing arrangement varies the budgets compared to other library branches. Erindale library specifically has a budget of $0.275m including: 

• Staffing costs: of $0.134m; 
• Building and Facilities: $0.138m including:
  • rent $0.135m;
  • cleaning and waste removal $0.002m; 
  • plus, the remainder on other miscellaneous operational costs.
